Thomas Bo Pedersen, Director of MASCOT Vietnam, sees it as the most prestigious award to date, as it is decided by the investment minister himself.

    A meaningful award

MASCOT’s CEO Michael Grosbøl was thrilled to hear this: "The prize acknowledges that MASCOT is still in the elite competition with some of Asia's largest international companies. I am both proud and happy for this,” said Michael Grosbøl.

    MASCOT Vietnam is CSR certified

MASCOT built its own factory in the industrial zone, Hai Duong, approx. 60 km from Hanoi in North Vietnam. It opened in March 2008 and today has more than 1,200 employees. From the beginning there has been a decisive focus on building safety and good and safe working conditions, and a natural consequence of this was that MASCOT, in January 2011, became SA 8000 certified. Since 2008 MASCOT has received several awards for both their CSR efforts and their commitment in the Hai Duong province.

It was MASCOT's logistics manager, Adel Abdullah, who, at the ceremony, received the award on behalf of MASCOT.

The award is signed and sealed by Investment Minister Bui Quang Vinh, 7 May 2013.
