    Frost & Sullivan - 2010
    Mon, 11 Oct 2010

The international recognised business research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has just presented awards to some of the 300 industries which are continuously monitored. In the market of workwear, MASCOT was presented with the award Customer Value Enhancement among Europe’s more than 700 manufacturers of workwear. It was the only award, which was presented to the market of workwear.

It is a very valuable award, which MASCOT’s Managing Director Michael Grosbøl travelled to Brussels to receive. As background for choosing MASCOT there are several years of research of the whole European market for workwear. It is therefore an award which is presented against the background of a joint assessment of the market and its players.

    Extraordinary customer value

The award recognises MASCOT’s ability to create extraordinary customer value and in Frost & Sullivan’s report of approx. 400 pages, the assessment of MASCOT is as follows: »It is a company that has demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers with a focus on improving the return on the investment that customers make in its services or products. This award recognizes the company's inordinate focus on enhancing the value that its customers receive, beyond simply good customer service, leading to improved customer retention and ultimately customer base expansion«.

    The product creates extra value

Frost & Sullivan has especially noticed MASCOT’s focus on making life easier for the customer. Both concerning the products as well as everything else relating to the products such as ordering and delivery. Industrial Analytic at Frost & Sullivan, K. Deepan Kannan state about MASCOT’s product development strategy: »The key differentiating factors of Mascot from its competitors are the superior quality and design of its workwear products. The products are offered at a competitive price with huge focus on ergonomics and style so as to offer great comfort, safety and also provide motivation to the wearer«.

    Many factors are crucial

One of the other factors, which has been crucial for Frost & Sullivan’ choice of MASCOT, is MASCOT’s uncompromising focus on product quality. Both the thorough tests, which are carried out prior to production, as well as the effective programme of quality control. The expertise of production is also a crucial parameter as well as the services, which MASCOT offer to everything from sales assistance, marketing solutions, special designed software, possibilities for special orders, individual packed solutions for each employee as well as an effective solution for logo printing of the clothing.

A large pat on the shoulder for MASCOT

Owner and Managing Director Michael Grosbøl has more than one reason to happily receive the award. »One thing is that it is the most prestigious award in our business in Europe and at MASOT we are proud to receive it. Another thing is that I consider it to be a huge pat on the shoulder and recognition of the fact that we during times of global crisis have chosen to maintain our long term strategy, which involves an uncompromising attitude to quality and customer service. No one doubts that the recession of the recent years has presented a critical period for our line of business. We have revised our work processes, but have without hesitation maintained our long term goal of uncompromising high quality. In 2010 we have also experienced a nice growth in both earnings and turnover. I therefore consider the award to be an extra confirmation signifying that we made the right decisions during difficult times. Since the analysis has been carried out by asking customers in Europe, it is incontrovertible proof that the customers have rewarded us for the high quality they buy when they buy MASCOT’s products«, finishes Michael Grosbøl.
