With the great weather here now it is time to change the long trousers for some shorts and get some sun on those legs! But of course safety must not be compromised. If you wear fluorescent trousers daily then of course the shorts need to be EN471 certified also.
Supplement the shorts with one of the NEW T-shirts (with or without collar) and you get a comfortable and airy summer set which meets the highest class within EN471, Class 3.
Both the shorts and the T-shirts are amongst MASCOT’s 2010 New Product Launches and part of the MASCOT® SAFE YOUNG range of high-vis red workwear. The high-vis red range was launched in 2009 and the industry has received it exceptionally well. Many have chosen this range to make them different from the masses who wear traditional yellow or orange colours. The red colour is certified in the same way as other fluorescent colours and so gives the same visibility safety.
The complete range of MASCOT® SAFE YOUNG, has MASCOT’s new fit. A fit which provides a spacious product with extra place for movement where the body has use for it. The fit is constructed partly so the garments follow the body’s movements, support the right places and do not gape at, for example, the waist.
MASCOT® Orada shorts are treated with Teflon® which makes them dirt resistant. If the shorts don’t get so dirty the fluorescent colour will stay visible for longer, providing extra safety for the wearer. All the more common functions which are indispensible for workers that use workwear daily are also found in the fluorescent shorts, for example, back pockets, thigh pockets together with ruler pocket which fits both 10 and 12 fold rulers.
In 2009 MASCOT launched the first products in the range which many have welcomed as an alternative to traditional fluorescent colours.
